Co-Founder & Executive Director Employer - Fort Wayne Community Schools, Community Coach at Amp Lab @ Electric Works, Founder of 4WARD Co. & Pave the Path Youth Leadership Program Role With 4WARD - Relationship Builder Why Part of 4WARD - 4WARD is a chance for me to live up to my goal of teaching and mentoring young men to 'pay it forward' and make the community a better place. This is truly my extended family and want the young men to feel loved and appreciated. What is My Favorite Memory - My favorite memory is when we took one of our first overnight trips and that boys wanted to sit around the fire and just talk. It was the realest conversation that has occurred in the program (it is now a must at every gathering). Boys have really enjoyed the brotherhood that has developed over the years and they look forward to supporting and holding each other accountable. What is My Favorite Memory - My favorite memory is when we took an overnight trip with the boys for a college visit to Butler University in Indianapolis. Those two days were filled with learning about a great school, playing wiffleball, euchre and forging meaningful brotherhood bonds. Meghan Short Event Coordinator Employer - Greater Fort Wayne, Inc., Director of Investor Programs Role With 4WARD - Sister of 4WARD Boys, POD Leader and Right Brain Why Part of 4WARD - Being a part of this group (who's more like a family) allows me to pay my experiences forward, mentor young leaders that will drive change for generations after me and open doors of possibilities for them to meet others in the community. I want them to know they don't have to navigate adulthood and career steps alone! What is My Favorite Memory - I always enjoy our circle conversations around a fire or during the pre-golf outing cookout. The vulnerability and brotherhood shared by the young men is admirable and gives me hope that these relationships can last a lifetime. Jennifer Roberts Marketing Director Employer - Asher Agency Role With 4WARD - Unofficial Mom of the 4WARD Crew Why Part of 4WARD - The purpose has a greater meaning than just mentoring. It is a true family. What is My Favorite Memory - Watching these young men grow up and have an impact on our own children. Our boys think of the 4WARD young men as their older brothers and look up to them. Having the boys over at the house and hearing their laughter when talking to each other means the world.
